With a bittersweet heart, I must announce that I've said goodbye to Virginia and all of my Incredible Journey clients and friends. I have moved to Florida and now service Sarasota County

Services

Birth Doula

Danielle will be by your side during the entirety of your incredible birth (no 12 hour clauses here!). Including 2 educational and preparatory prenatal visits and 1 postpartum visit to help give you a great start to breastfeeding. She'll be there to coach, position, advocate for and relax you along with offering wonderful ways to connect with your partner through this experience. Whether you choose a hospital, home, center or water birth Danielle will be there to help make it the most beautiful experience possible.

Lactation Consultant

Breastfeeding is an art  that sometimes requires special care or training. Danielle is here to help you learn how to communicate with your baby and give you the confidence to rock it. While adjustments can be made any time, keep in mind that the best time to establish optimal lactation is the first 2 weeks after birth. It's a great thing to plan for ahead of time!

Postpartum Doula

For some, coming home is the scariest part of birth. A postpartum doula can dramatically ease that transition. Danielle will be there to coach with feeding (breast or bottle), changing, bath time, sleep time and so much more. She'll take care of the household chores like laundry and cooking while making sure Mom is healing and resting per Doctor's orders. Danielle is wonderful at incorporating Dad's and partners in to this new beginning so everyone has a chance to bond with baby. By the time she leaves you'll be confident, capable parents with an already established routine that centers around your family.
